In Casino Royale, James Bond is presented as a man who is very tough but yet sly at the same time. The toilet scene shows that he is tough and is not someone to be messed with. In this scene he is in a fight with another man where he seems to be the stronger person. At the end of the scene, he kills the man by drowning him. Also, in the beginning of this scene, he is presented as a very sly character. He is presented in this way as he is sitting in the corner of another person's office when they walk in. He is sitting in the dark shadows of the room so he is not seen. By doing this, he is presented as being a clever character as well as being sly.
