Universal
Over the years, Universal Productions have had many different Idents. They have changed their Idents to keep up with the times. In 1987 they changed their Ident as it was their 75th anniversary. In the ident, they showed a range of Idents from their past and added '75th Anniversary' to it. The universal logo is an image of the world. By using this image they are showing that their company is for everyone around the world. It i not aimed at a specific person or typeof person, it is for everyone.
Dreamworks
Dreamworks is a production company that was founded in 1994. Their famous logo is of a boy sitting on a moon holding a fishing rod. Over the years, this logo has changed slightly depending on what film they have done. For example for eh Shrek movie in 2001, all of the S's were changed to the same font and colour as what is used in the film. Another example is the Bee Movie in 2007. As the boy in the logo is floating to the sky, one of the bees makes him fall and the bee sis on the moon instead of the boy.
BBC
The BBC started to make films in 1990. Their ident over the years hasn't really changed as it is quite basic. The logo involves the letters 'BBC' along with the word 'Films'. The logo really has a plain, basic background that is not changed much. Examples of these are:
Film 4
Film 4 was originated in 1982 as a film production company owned by Channel 4. Over the years, the company has been responsible for backing a large amount of films from the UK and around the world. The logo of the company is a red box that has the word 'film' inside along with a number 4. The first logo has 'Film Four' in writing on it but this changed later on.
