Three Initial Ideas and Audience Feedback

The Observer

Two different settings, a cafe and an unknown location.

The first location is in the cafe, there is a man sitting at a table reading a newspaper, from around him it looks like a normal newspaper but inside there are documents that he is clearly hiding. Another man walks into the cafe and sits down with him. The newspaper is handed over containing the documents. These two men are CID. There is another man sitting in the corner of the cafe, he is watching what is going on between the two men. He has an earpiece in, he is talking to someone. As the newspaper is handed over he says into the earpiece, "they're onto you".
In the second location, there is a crane shot on the murderer. The murderer is the man on the other end of the earpiece. The murderer is standing there with blood all over his hands and around 5 dead bodies around him. When he is told that the police are onto him, he replies with "it's too late".

Feedback - The overall idea was good and original but we could not carry on with the idea as there would have been a problem with the settings of the filming. There would have been a problem trying to film in a cafe without having the owners complain.

Death Period

There is a boy named Jake who has a very difficult life and has a lot of problems at school. After going home one night, he realises he needs to complete important work so he goes back to school in the dark. What he doesn't know is that theres somebody there waiting for him. As he enters the school, the janitor encounters him and warns him not to go in. Jake doesn't listen and enters without the janitors permission, the doors were unlocked. Whilst walking down corridor, he is being watched by a mysterious figure. Jake feels the presence of the mysterious figure. Although he keeps looking back he sees nothing so he just continues his walk to the classroom. It then fades to another scene, he is doing work in the class and the mysterious figure is watching him through the window of the door behind the boys back. The mysterious figure then opens the door. There's a creek, its dark. There's a scream. The end.

Feedback - Target audience is for people between the ages of 15 and 19. Theres a lot of tense at the end as you do not know what happens to the boy, is he killed or just scared? The mysterious figure is known to crime, has previous murder cases. Murders for fun.

The Stalker

There is a girl, she is suspicious that her boyfriend is cheating on her. She has one girl in her mind that it may be. She searches this girl online, finds her on Facebook and finds out all of her information. She has a picture of this girl and her home address. Once she has all of this information gathered, she goes out to meet her friends. Together, they come up with the plan that they are going to kidnap the girl that she thinks her boyfriend may be having an affair with. The girls go to the woman, kidnap her and throw her into a car. They take her somewhere that is in the middle of nowhere and kill her. The woman who thought her boyfriend was cheating on her is now very happy and continues with everyday life as if nothing happened.

Feedback - The target age for the audience is between 15 and 24. Throughout the film there is tension as you do not know if they are going to kill the girl or not.
