The Art of the Title

The Art of the Title is a website that contains hundreds of different opening title sequences to different films and TV shows. It also gives you a brief description of the film or TV program that the title scene is used for.
An example of a film that is on the website is the James Bond film, Skyfall. On the website, it shows the opening title sequence of the film and gives a quick description of it. In the description, it tells you where the music has come from and the history of the music from the previous films.
Throughout the website, there are hundreds of different title sequences all from different films. The films vary from cartoons such as, 'Adventure Time' to films that are aimed at adults such as 'Mission Impossible'. There is also a big list of the makers of the title sequences. Examples of these people are, Aaron Becker, Jenny Lee and Rama Allen.

This website is useful if you are designing your own title sequence as it shows a range of very different title sequences. Throughout these, there are many different techniques used so by looking at them, you are able to choose your best technique and go ahead and use it yourself.
